Are the Maui Nannies CPR and First Aid certified?
Yes, the nannies always have current certification.
Is there a background check and reference check?
Yes, both are checked and available information is given at the time of booking.
What are the hours of operation?
Maui Nannies can work any scheduling times i.e., early mornings, late nights, middle of the day, etc. Please contact us to inquire about our rates and group rates. Our hours of operation are from 7am-6pm (Hawaiian Standard Time)
Does Maui Nannies provide transportation?
No, for liability purposes there will be no transportation during nanny services.
What is Maui Nannies booking/cancellation policy?
A credit card is required to secure nanny services upon booking. The family is required to pay cash directly to the nanny upon completion of service. Cancellations made with 24 hours’ notice for standard rate days or 7 days’ notice for Major Holidays* will receive a full refund. It is understood that if the reservation is cancelled by you with less than 24 hours’ notice from the listed service start time (for standard rate days) or less than 7 days’ notice (for major holidays*), or if it is a no show due to weather/illness the full payment will not be refundable. All reservations made with-in a 24 hr notice of the start time will not be refundable. All cancellations must be received during business hours of 7am to 6pm Hawaii Standard Time.

Do Maui Nannies administer medicine?
No, Maui Nannies do not administer medicine for liability purposes.
Do Maui Nannies take the kids swimming?
Yes, swimming at the pool or beach is permitted if the liability waiver is signed; however, it will also depend on the children’s swimming ability and ages.
Do Maui Nannies bring fun age appropriate toys, crafts, and activities?
Yes! This is just one of the things that makes Maui Nannies unique! They arrive with a fun filled “nanny bag” for indoor or outdoor activities such as toys, games, books, crafts, and activities.
Can we meet our nanny to make sure it's a good fit for our family?
Yes, with advance notice, a 1 hour meet-n-greet may be scheduled before making the final nanny booking.
Will I have the same nanny for my entire booking?
Yes, it is extremely important for both the family and nanny to work together the whole time providing the best care possible.
How far in advance should I book?
It is always good to book in advance; however, Maui Nannies will do their best to provide nanny services if it is less than 24 hours notice. Please note: There is no refund for a less than 24 hr notice booking. For bookings longer than 5 days please allow a 2 week or longer notice.
